Exoskeletons - Made in Germany
At German Bionic, we’re on a mission to change the world by developing industry-leading active exoskeletons - shaping the future of high-intensity workplaces forever.
Alongside our cutting-edge hardware and companion app, our young and innovative team is building German Bionic IO, a data-driven web application that helps our customers monitor and analyze the performance of their cloud-connected exoskeletons.
Our goal is to make data-driven insights accessible, reliable and visually engaging. We work closely with our backend and data teams to deliver powerful tools that make a real impact.
Starting in Feburary or March 2026, our Frontend Team is looking for a motivated intern to join us and contribute to our upcoming projects.
About the role
As a Frontend Development Intern (m/f/d), you’ll contribute to our React + TypeScript application - the main interface our customers use to interact with their data. You’ll help design, implement and refine features that make complex information easy to understand and a joy to use.
But it doesn’t stop there - you’ll also have the opportunity to test our latest exoskeletons, provide valuable feedback and contribute to our shared vision of making the world a better place.
Are you interested?
Then we look forward to receiving your application, to Ms. Gizem Togar, Head of Human Resources, directly via our German Bionic website.
We require the following application documents:
- Complete resume and relevant certificates or current transcript of grades
- Short letter of motivation
- Certificate of enrollment
- Confirmation that this is a mandatory internship, stating the prescribed internship duration or your study and examination regulations
About us
We are on a mission to change the future and sustainability of the labor market.
German Bionic is a European robotics firm that develops and manufactures smart power suits and other wearable technologies. It was the world’s first company to deliver connected exoskeletons for the workplace, applying self-learning and artificial intelligence to support lifting movements and prevent poor posture, and thereby becoming an intelligent link between humans and machines. The German Bionic smart power suits and wearables protect the health of workers and markedly reduce the risk of accidents and injury to consequently improve work processes. In recognition of this innovative technology, which puts people back at the center of Industry 4.0, German Bionic has received numerous awards, including the CES 2023 “Best of Innovation” Award, the Fast Company “Innovation by Design Award”, the German Entrepreneur Award, and a nomination for the prestigious Hermes Award at the Hannover Messe. German Bionic is headquartered in the USA and Germany with offices in Boston, Berlin, Augsburg, and Tokyo.
